Through this exhibition, the Atiss Dakar Gallery aimed to explore the diverse motivations of two artists, Elolo Bosoka and Serigne Mbaye Camara, from different countries and generations, yet with similar artistic practices. The aim was to bring them together to highlight the "resonances" between their approaches.
What motivates these artists? Is it a necessity due to a lack of resources, a rebellious and nonconformist stance, or a traditional appropriation of any material?
